Spawn's Violater's + Spider-Man's Carnage=Violater possess by the Carnage symbiote

Mortal Combat Scorpion and Sub-Zero + Cola Cola and Pepsi

I think the first would be a good fit for this account's FAN ART section while the later as a light gag drawing would be good for my comic strip BLEACH and CLOTH on my LOSTgnosis account.

That all said and for the hey of it here goes some of the cooler images I found while looking for refs for Carnage and Violater on dA...

Carnage VS Violater

Not the best drawing I ever seen but not the worst either and I have to give the person credit for being the only person on dA as far as I saw who has drawn these psychos together.

Violater

I like how ghostly this depiction of the character is.

I like the small details of this depiction.  I like the addition nasal cavities, the hardness (often Violater looks bumpy and rubbery), that despite the rib showing it looks solid and the shagginess of it with the jagged horns and tufts of hair.

I like how in this depiction yet again Violater isn't all bumpy and rubbery but rather muscular, mangled and wrinkly all at the same time.

Carnage

I am not a fan of the more modern look of carnage as a skinless man with a monster face I think the black ooze element of the original 90s design for the characters keep the design from being too easy and gives it some pop that said black ooze is a beyotch to draw.  This take on the character has a nice simple solution to the problem Spidey's classic webbing pattern over the red ;)

I like how ghostly and oozy this takes feels (anything that keeps carnage from being just a skinless man with a monster face is good in my book LoL).  That said I am on the fence about the limited black that said like with the illustration above I think they came up with a smart practical solution in having the black essentially be veins showing through the red.

I like how this depiction says f*** the red and embrace the BLACK!!!  It is almost as if Carnage is made of shadow here ;)

The classic Mark Bagley style for the character.  Hmm looking at it bleeding black over blood red might be a more proper description for the design...

Makes me think of a mangled tree...

like the one above it feels more solid but this time due to the handling of the black

Slime trying to be human with cracks in it.

Same artist as above piece.  The cropping makes Carnage feel like a symbiotic boogeyman that can just ooze and bleed his way out of the shadows suddenly to kill your ass.

Interesting take with Carnage looking skinless but still fleshy color due to the white, feels bleed dry but bloody.  Very paradoxical.

Vines with thorns all coming from a wicked hearts and bones...

Feels and looks like blood splatter pooling together to form Carnage.

The symbiote is the web and the web is the symbiote...

Some thoughts on combining the two...

Both have exaggerate extended movement.  Violater with his elongated body and limbs and top heavy form.  Carnage with his Mr. Fantastic on a murdering spree after skinning himself look.

That said I like Violater when he is more solid and Carnage when he is more loose.  Maybe I can have both... I could have Violater have a solid, mangled and wrinkled look paired with where his body is dislocated and/or pulling itself apart to extend itself through the Carnage symbiote.  With the black of carnage I could incorporate black veins where Violater is solid, bleeding more where he is extended and having black in the nooks and crannies to give a shadowy look.  That all said sounds like a good plan to ya all?

PS If and when I do draw Violater Carnage I might have to draw him fighting my Angela Redeemer mash-up
